Genesis Initiative Chairman It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Lord Randall of St Budeaux has agreed to be the Chairman for the forthcoming Genesis Initiative Conference. Lord Randall was educated at the University of Wales and held many important positions within leading industry organisations including Marconi, British Steel, British Leyland and Plessey Communications Systems. Elected Labour MP for Hull from 1983 to 1997 until raised to the peerage as Baron Randall of St Budeaux in 1997. Lord Randall is well known for his calm but strong leadership and is the ideal person to be the Chairman of this year's Conference. He will be assisted by a former Government minister responsible for SMEs, John Cope (Lord Cope of Berkeley).
