Welsh entrepreneur Barry Price OBE re elected Chairman of the Small Business Bureau.

Barry in 1974 was Finance Director of a first generation family business and since 1989 Group Managing Director employing 200 people with a turnover of £14 million per annum. During 1987 planned and implemented the amalgamation of eight separate but associated Companies into a privately owned PLC. Barry is Chairman of the Small Business Bureau and Member and Director of the Genesis Initiative.

 

 

The Small Business Bureau updates new website

The SBB launched its new website on 11th August 2000. Managing Director, Alan Cleverly OBE said "we are very excited about the relaunch of our website. All the new features will be really useful for the SME sector who visit our new website". The site, designed by Purple Nine and hosted on Clara.net features all the latest news, details of the Genesis Initiative conference for 2002 will soon be announced, information on Women Into Business and a live discussion forum for small businesses.
